Ruthvika enters pre-quarterfinals

Ruthvika Shivani, a 14-year-old from Andhra Pradesh, overcame a strong challenge from Finland's Sonja Pekkola to win 21-19, 20-22, 21-19 and enter the girls' singles pre-quarterfinals of the Yonex Dutch junior badminton championship at Haarlem, the Netherlands, on Friday.
