Rathore wins

Olympic silver medallist Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore shot a career best score of 193 and won the gold in the eighth Sardar Sajjan Singh Sethi memorial Masters shotgun championship at the Dr. Karni Singh shooting range in Tughlakabad on Thursday.

National champion Saniya Sheikh won the women's and junior gold with a score of 65 out of 75.

The results: Men: Double trap: 1. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore 193 (144); 2. Joginder Pal Singh 185 (140); 3. Mohammed Asab 181 (140). Juniors: 1. Shayan Masood 134; 2. Ankur Mittal 128; 3. Syed Ali Bin Hadi 98.

Women: Skeet: 1. Saniya Sheikh 65; 2. Rashmee Rahtore 60; 3. Arti Singh Rao 55. Juniors: 1. Saniya Sheikh 65.
