Perinthalmanna to host sub-jr. volleyball

The National sub-junior volleyball championship for under-16 boys and girls will be held at Perinthalmanna in Malappuram district from December 1 to 6.

Kozhikode will host four of the five State championships this season. The mini State meet will be held at Pymdra (near Kappad) from September 30 to October 2, the sub-junior State event at Naduvannur (Nov. 11-14), youth State championship at Kakkoor's Rajiv Gandhi Stadium (Dec. 25 to Jan 1) and the senior State meet at Vengalam (near Kappad, Dec. 11 to 18), said Nalakath Basheer, the Kerala State Volleyball Association Secretary, on Monday.

The lone State championship to go out of Kozhikode district this year is the junior event which will be held at North Paravur in Ernakulam from December 23 to 26.
