Certification for Indian coaches

Nandan Bal awarded A-level by GPTCA

Former Davis Cup coach Nandan Bal has been awarded A-level certification by the ATP-approved Global Professional Tennis Coach Association (GPTCA) during the three-day course held by the president of the association, Alberto Castellani.

Karan Rastogi, who has been coaching in Hong Kong for the last few years, also has an A-certificate.

Other Indian coaches — Arun Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Vivek Shokeen and Dilip Mohanty have been awarded B-level certification.

Tushar Jagota, Nakul Badopalia, Saurabh Singh among the men, apart from women coaches Namita Bal, Asha Sharma and Nikunj Kamal, were some of the coaches who were presented C-level certification at the conclusion of the course on Monday.
