Hari draws with Eljanov; Adhiban holds Aronian

P. Hari Krishna drew with overnight leader Ukraine’s Pavel Eljanov in the third round of the Tata Steel Masters chess tournament here on Monday.

The 42-move draw raised Hari’s tally to two points and kept him half-a-point behind Eljanov.

Earlier, B. Adhiban drew with Armenia’s Levon Aronian in 38 moves to reach one point.

The day also saw Wesley So, Wei Yi and Sergey Karjakin score their maiden victories to join Hari and Magnus Carlsen in the second spot.
