World champion cueist Pankaj Advani and Khel Ratna awardee woman boxer M. C. Mary Kom are part of a 241-strong Indian contingent for the third Indoor Asian Games to be held in Vietnam from October 30 to November 8.

The contingent comprises 186 athletes (102 men and 84 women) and it will be led by Chef-de-Mission B. P. Baishya in Vietnam.

India will be represented in all the 20 disciplines at the Games with athletics alone counting for a 46-member squad, the Indian Olympic Association said in a statement.

Swimming and archery will have 15 competitors each while the cue sports, three-on-three basketball and chess will be represented by 15 players each.

The Indian contingent will also compete in some of the new sports that include dance sport, hoop sepaktakraw and kickboxing.

The contingent is expected to leave for Vietnam in the last week of this month.
