Yash Aradhya tops time-charts in both Formula LGB 1300 categories

Deepak Paul Chinnappa of Race Concepts clinched pole-position in the premier Indian Touring Cars section of the fifth and final round of the MRF-MMSC FMSCI Indian National Racing Championship, at the MMRT track here on Friday.

Yash Aradhya topped the time-charts in both the Formula LGB 1300 (National and Rookie Cup) categories.

In the MRF F1600 practice session, Anindith Reddy was the quickest overall.

The Touring Cars qualifying session reflected how close it is among the front-runners. Chinnappa, who leads the championship by just seven points, was the quickest in both practice sessions. He followed it up with a lap of 1:53.068s in the qualifying, ahead of defending champion Arjun Narendran (1:53.132s), who is second in the championship, and Ashish Ramaswamy (1:53.140s).
