Formula One championship leader Mark Webber has received a contract at Red Bull for the 2011 season, the team announced on Monday.

Red Bull said that the 33-year-old Australian will team up with German Sebastian Vettel for the third straight season next year.

Vettel has a contract until 2011, Webber’s original one would have expired after the 2010 season.

Webber has been with Red Bull since 2007. He won the Spanish and Monaco races this season to top the standings.

He was denied a third straight win last month in Turkey in a collision with Vettel and had to settle for third place. The ensuing dispute is said to have been settled by now. The next race is the Canadian GP on Sunday in Montreal.
