Jennings eager to dent CSK halo

May 22, 2011 02:09 am | Updated 02:40 am IST - Bangalore:

Chennai Super Kings has remained indomitable at home but Royal Challengers Bangalore coach Ray Jennings is eager to dent that halo in the coming week.

“CSK is a balanced side with good players. It is one of the franchises that retained all four players and tried to buy back its old players in the auction.

“It is going to be a tough week while having the Super Kings in the play-offs group and CSK will also be playing at home. The challenge is to beat the Super Kings at home and that is interesting for me,” Jennings said here on Saturday.

Jennings praised the play-offs but wished the matches were well spaced out. “The system is good, but three games in four days is unfair.

“You need breathing space because if we end up playing on the 25th, 27th and 28th of May and say the team that has played on the 24th had four days of rest, that could be unfair,” he said.
