Hockey India league: Warriors seal semifinal spot

Jaypee Punjab Warriors came back from behind to hold Kalinga Lancers to a 4-4 draw and seal its place in the semifinal of the fourth Hockey India league, here on Monday.

The match also marked the first draw of the fourth edition of HIL.

Punjab Warriors with 29 points became the second team after defending champion Ranchi Rays to book a semifinal berth.

The result: Punjab Warriors 4 (Matt Gohdes fg, Jake Whetton fg) drew with Kalinga Lancers 4 (Malak Singh fg, Quirjin Caspers fg).
