Chetri left out

Goalkeeper Bharat Chetri, who led the Indian hockey team in the London Olympics, has been left out of the ongoing National camp at NIS Patiala.

The Indian team will participate in the Lanco International Super Series in Perth (November 22 to 25), the FIH Champions Trophy in Melbourne (December 1 to 9) and the second Asian Champions Trophy in Doha (December 20 to 27).

The shortlisted players: Goalkeepers: P.R. Sreejesh, P.T. Rao, Srenivas Rao; Defenders: V.R. Raghunath, Sandeep Singh, Rupinderpal Singh, Harbir Singh, Amit Rohidas, Sampath Kumar Maylaram; Midfielders: Sardar Singh, Kothajit Singh, Birendra Lakra, Manpreet Singh, M.B. Aiyappa, Pradeep Mor, Gurmail Singh, Vivek Dhar; Forwards: S.V. Sunil, Gurvinder Singh Chandi, Chinglensana Singh, Shivendra Singh, Danish Mujtaba, S.K. Uthappa, Pradhanna Sommanna, Nithin Thimmaiah, Yuvraj Walmiki, Dharamvir Singh, Akashdeep Singh, M.G. Poonacha, Prabhdeep Singh, P.L. Thimmanna, Sukhdev Singh, Gurpreet Singh.
