Raina Yadav scored four goals as Odisha raced to a 14-0 win over Rajasthan in a Pool C match of the National women’s hockey championship at the Asih Bagh Stadium here on Monday.

Defending champion Indian Railways recorded a 9-0 victory over Maharashtra in its opening match in Pool A.

Pool A: Indian Railways 9 (Poonam Rani 3, Soundarya Yendala 2, Roselin Dung Dung, Vandana Katariya, Anupa Barla, Chanchan Devi) bt Maharashtra 0;

Pool C: Odisha 14 (Raina Yadav 4, Namita Toppo 3, Nilima Minz 2, Sunita Lakra 2, Birajini Ekka 2, Punam Barla) bt Rajasthan 0; Hockey Bhopal 13 (Moully Yadav 4, Pooja Yadav 3, Hemlata Yadav 2, Chanda Gupta 2, Mamta Yadav, Shivani Bisht) bt Tamil Nadu 0.

Pool E: Chhattisgarh 13 (Saroj Singh 5, Minni 3, Balvinder Kaur 2, Renu Singh, Renuka Rajput, Rajani Sanger) bt Gujarat 0.

Pool G: Chandigarh 16 (Reena Khokhar 3, Jyoti Manral 2, Neeru 2, Rajni 2, Sangeeta 2, Shivani 2, Navjot Kaur, Neha Rawat, Simran) bt Puducherry 0.
