Indian men take on SA

The Indian men's hockey team, with its focus on next month's Olympic qualifier, will face South Africa in a five-match Test series, starting at the National Stadium here from Monday.

The preparatory series will primarily provide an opportunity to chief coach Michael Nobbs to assess the youngsters toiling hard in the ongoing camp in match situations. It will also present occasions to sort out the areas of concern — the major one being the habit of conceding last minute goals.
