India ranked World No. 11

India has jumped two places to be ranked 11th in the World after the women’s team finished ninth in the recent hockey World Cup at Rosario. India has a tally of 1305 points.

The men’s team is at No 9 after the last World Cup in New Delhi.

Argentina moved up to the top spot after regaining the World women’s crown before the home crowd and is leading the table with a total of 2620 points.

The following are the top 10 teams, with India placed at 11. 1.Argentina (2620), 2.Netherlands (2413), 3.Germany (2163), 4.China (2030), 5. England (1987), 6.Austrtalia (1855),7.New Zealand (1778), 8.Korea (1518), 9.Japan (1378), 10.Spain (1323) and 11.India (1305).
