India’s pride: The Joga Bonito team that will take part in the global finals of Neymar Jr’s Five 2018.

India’s pride: The Joga Bonito team that will take part in the global finals of Neymar Jr’s Five 2018.

Team Joga Bonito will represent India in the five-a-side football tournament at Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr in Praia Grande, the home town of the Brazilian superstar.

A total of 2809 teams participated in the trials where the Mumbai team emerged the National champion of Neymar Jr’s Five 2018.

Anthony Machado, Johnson Dsilva, Mervin Stephen, Preetam Mahadik, Daniel Fernandes, Scott D’Souza and Pratik Kadam will represent the team in the Finals.

The qualifiers took place across 14 cities and the teams to make it to the final round came from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata. Mumbai, Aizawl, Pune and Shillong.
