Last-minute Mendoza blitz gives Chennai the title

League top-scorer Stiven Mendoza finished his 2015 campaign with a last-minute goal to give Chennaiyin FC a thrilling win over hosts FC Goa, with the final scoreline reading 3-2.

9:00 pm: And... Chennai seals it, wins the Indian Super League title.

8:50 pm: Stiven Mendoza, top-scorer of this edition, seems to have sealed it for Chennai who go 3-2 up.

8:48 pm: 87' Goaaall! Is that the match? Jofre does it for Goa, helps the hosts for 2-1 up.

8:33 pm: 20 minutes of normal time remaining. Score 1-1.

8:19 pm:Goa saves penalty. Kattimani to the rescue. Stops Mendoza from giving Chennai a 2-0 lead.

8:16 pm: 57' Two goals in three minutes. Haokip equalises for Goa , score reads 1-1.

8:12 pm: 54' Pelissari takes the penalty, puts it past Kattimani on the rebound. Chennai lead 1-0

8:04 pm: Goa play-maker Leo Moura has been substituted. And that could be a massive loss.

7:42 pm: The trio of Joffre, Rafael and Leo Moura pulling the strings for FC Goa.

7:40 pm: 38' Mendoza gets his first real chance there, Kattimani manages to thwart the danger.

7:32 pm: 31' Mailson stops Goa from scoring from an open chance.

7:25 pm: A couple of half-chances for both teams is all we have after 20 minutes of action.

7:23 pm: Mendoza gets a good chance but Kattimani does well to stop him!

7:22 pm: 18' Free-kick to Goa

7:20 pm: 17' Pelissari gets into the box and takes a shot but it goes just wide.

7:13 pm: Ten minutes gone, but the game so far has been ridden with fouls!

7:12 pm: A clash of heads between Dudu and Mailson... Dudu is off in an ambulance.

6:55 pm: Virat Kohli and Abhishek Bachchan, the co-owners of Goa and Chennai, have made it to the ground too.

6:53 pm: Amid fireworks, the sides are making their way on to the pitch.

6:40 pm: Eight men stood under the crossbar when ISL 2015 kicked off at various venues. Only two of those fit and flexible men are left standing. Chennaiyin FC’s Edel Bete and FC Goa’s Laxmikant Kattimani are all set for a face-off. > More...

6:38 pm: Bruno Pelissari is in for marquee Elano Blumer. Not a surprise. The side has looked more impressive with Bruno in the eleven.

The referees and the players are out for their pre-match warm up. And they have a full house greeting them !

6:36 pm: Goa FC has gone in with an unchanged side from the one which beat Delhi Dynamos in the semifinal second leg.
