Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has identified Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a man who could improve his side next season.
City booked their place in the Champions League with a 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur and Mancini said Ibrahimovic could be a perfect addition to his big-money side.
“If Zlatan wants to come to City, I would immediately find him a place,” The Sun reported Mancini as saying.
Ibrahimovic was part of a Serie A winning side at Inter Milan under Mancini and is on loan at neighbours AC Milan.
However, Mancini said that striker Mario Balotelli, signed for 24 million pounds from Inter Milan last summer, was still part of his future plans.
“He will definitely stay,” Mancini said. “Mario is an ongoing bet.
“He has shown he has all the right qualities, but needs to do more, much more, to give a sense to his talent.”
