Sweden captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic was presented as Paris Saint-Germain’s latest signing on Wednesday, after signing a three-year contract with the Ligue 1 club.
Ibrahimovic, who leaves AC Milan after two seasons at the Serie A giant, was presented to media shortly after former Pescara midfielder Marco Verratti.
The 30-year-old Ibrahimovic said “I am very happy. It’s a big step in my career, another dream come true.”
PSG has paid a reported $25 million for Ibrahimovic and $15 million for Verratti, taking its summer spending on new players to an estimated $137.
PSG’s Qatari owners have already signed Ibrahimovic’s former AC Milan teammate Thiago Silva and Napoli’s Ezequiel Lavezzi this summer.
