Abednedo Kofi struck twice as debutant Real Kashmir FC hammered Shillong Lajong FC 6-1 to jump to the third spot in the Hero I-League here on Tuesday as its run of six continuous home matches came to a roaring end.

With its fourth win from seven games, Kashmir soared to third on the points table, level with second-placed Churchill Brothers on points but a little behind on goal difference.

The results: Real Kashmir FC 6 (Abednedo Kofi 25, 83, Mason Robertson 37, Nagen Tamang 42, Gnohere Krizo 50, Surchandra Singh 74) bt Shillong Lajong 1 (Samuel Lyngdoh 28) .
