Thanks to Neymar's late goal last week, it will be nothing short of a miracle if Bayern Munich overturn the deficit to enter the final. Pep Guardiola's side will take confidence from its performances earlier in the season when it scored goals in quick succession. However, it's another question whether it can be done against Barcelona.

Guardiola suffered criticism for the team's approach in the opening 15 minutes when the Catalan side broke through the opposition defence frequently and was only denied by Manuel Neuer. Yet, it was a courageous plan that failed because the three-man defence of Jerome Boateng, Medhi Benatia and Rafinha was constantly dragged out of position.

It won't be a surprise, though, if Guardiola opts for the “high-press” again. Despite Bayern's troubles at the beginning, Barcelona wasn't entirely comfortable either. In fact, neat interplay between Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller had provided the former a great chance to put Bayern ahead. As the German side needs at least three goals, throwing caution to the wind would be its best option.

This obviously could play into Barcelona's hands and an embarrassing scoreline may ensue. The various threats posed by Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi overwhelms most sides and it will be a major achievement for Bayern if none of the three score on Tuesday night. Under Luis Enrique's leadership, Barcelona are not averse to playing direct passes to the forward trio. It may seem like wishful thinking but Bayern's hope of a comeback could rely on complacency from the visitor.
