FIFA World Cup 2018: France team, records, fixtures

The FIFA World Cup 2018 is scheduled to be held in Russia from June 14 to July 15, 2018. A total of 64 matches will be played in 12 venues located in 11 cities.

The final will be held at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

2018 FIFA World Cup

In Group C, France won two games against Australia and Peru and drew against Denmark. They topped the group with 7 points. Interestingly, the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system was used during the France-Australia match.

In the Round of 16, France beat Argentina 4-3, with Kylian Mbappe scoring two of those goals. In the quarter-final, France beat Uruguay 2-0 to reach World Cup semi-finals for the sixth time in their history.
