The FIFA World Cup 2018 is scheduled to be held in Russia from June 14 to July 15, 2018. A total of 64 matches will be played in 12 venues located in 11 cities.
The final will be held at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

In Group G, England started their campaign on a positive note by winning the first two matches easily. Captain Harry Kane led from the front and took the team to the knock-outs. Harry Kane scored a hat-trick. England lost to Belgium in the last group match and took the second place.
In the Round of 16, England beat Colombia in a thriller following a penalty shootout. The scores were tied 1-1 after extra time and England eventually won 4-3, also their first knockout victory in the World Cup for 12 years. In the quarter-final, England beat Sweden 2-0 to reach their first semi-final since 1990.
