Jose Mourinho confirmed on Saturday that he will leave Inter Milan to coach Real Madrid next season.
In an interview with the German Sat-1 television station following his side’s 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League final in Madrid, the Portuguese nodded when asked if he had coached his last match for the Serie A club and did the same when asked whether he was taking the helm at Real.
Mourinho also told Italian television station RAI that he was leaving Inter, saying he wanted to become the first coach to win the Champions League with three different clubs. Mourinho won his first Champions League title with FC Porto in 2004.
Ernst Happel and Ottmar Hitzfeld are the only other coaches to win the competition with two different clubs.w
