Sami Khedira of Real Madrid is doubtful for the semifinals of the Champions League, according to media reports on Friday.
Khedira, 24, pulled a muscle in his right leg in Wednesday’s cup final defeat of Barcelona, and had to be replaced in extra-time by Ezequiel Garay.
On Thursday the German midfielder travelled to Munich for treatment and is expected back in Madrid on Sunday. The extent of the injury is still not clear. He will certainly miss Saturday’s league match away to third-placed Valencia, and probably the first leg of the Champions League semifinals at home to Barcelona on April 27.
