Golden Goal: Laurent Blanc (France) against Paraguay 1-0 AET (Round of 16) at Lens (France) on May 28, 1998.

Penalty shoot-out: Germany FR-France 3-3 AET (1-1, 1-1) 5-4 PSO in semifinals at Seville (Spain) on July 8, 1982.

Penalty to be scored: Manuel Rosas (Mexico) against Argentina at Montevideo on July 19, 1930.
