We have so far witnessed some excellent football from both the sides. Both the teams will now apply the attacking football in the final 15 minutes.

It is all happening at the Portugal goal side. Three or four misses continuously from France.

In the second half, Portugal plays some attacking football than France.

It will certainly be an interesting second half of the Euro 2016 finals.

Host nation France and Portugal were goalless at half-time of the Euro 2016 final.

The Real Madrid forward had attempted to play on with a heavily bandaged knee after hurting his left knee in a heavy challenge from France's Dimitri Payet.

But after one acceleration midway through the first half Ronaldo signalled to the bench that he could not carry on and could not hide his despair as he was replaced by Ricardo Quaresma.

Even before Ronaldo departed, France had the majority of possession and almost took the lead with a header from Antoine Griezmann that Rui Patricio brilliantly pushed away.

Moussa Sissoko blasted over the crossbar in France's other main chance of the half.

Good try from Portugal at the end of the first half but the ball went wide.

Nearing the end of first half, still goalless. Portugal despite the absence of Ronaldo are showing their skills with Nani leading from the front. France had a better ball possession in the first half but all went in vain due to the excellent goalkeeping from Rui Patrocio.

Possession in the first half: France 55 per cent and Portugal 45 per cent.

Portugal is attacking now and tries to put behind the Ronaldo's absence in the Euro 2016 finals.

38th minute: Excellent display of football from Nani and an opportunity missed by Portugal

Portugal is playing positive football despite the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Again Ronaldo is down, they are calling for stretcher. He is in pain and agony. Ronaldo ties the captain band to Nani. There will be no participation of Ronaldo further in the finals. Great loss for Portugal at the crucial juncture.

Real Madrid defender Pepe missed Portugal's 2-0 semifinal win over Wales with a thigh injury, but declared himself fit on the eve of the final and returned to the team in place of Bruno Alves.

Holding midfielder Carvalho took over from Danilo for the final at Stade de France after missing the Wales game due to suspension.

France coach Didier Deschamps kept faith with the team that beat Germany 2-0 in the last four, with six-goal tournament top scorer Antoine Griezmann lining up in support of striker Olivier Giroud.
