: The Tamil Nadu State Chess Association will organise the 12th Adyar Times New Millennium FIDE- rated Open chess tournament at Bapalal Bhavan, (Lions club of South Madras), New No.15, 1st Seaward Road, Valmikinagar, Tiruvanmiyur from July 24 to 29. The total cash prize fund is Rs.1,20,000.
Registered players of All India Chess Federation and Tamil Nadu State Chess Association are eligible to participate.
The entry fee is Rs. 1,000 for unrated players, Rs. 800 for rating less than 2000, Rs. 600 for rating between 2000-2350 and free for rating above 2350 as also WIMs, IMs and GMs.
