Nikita Aghe’s all-round effort (65, five for nine) helped West Zone beat Central Zone by 74 runs in the BCCI inter-zonal u-19 girls’ cricket tournament here on Friday. Rishika Yadav’s five for 35 for Central Zone went in vain.

Dhara Gujjar hit 143 (13x4) as East Zone beat North East Zone by 262 runs.

The scores: North Zone 177 for eight in 50 overs (B. Simran 54, S. Rupali 41, B. Anusha four for 21) lost to South Zone 178 for eight in 46.5 overs (I.V. Drishya 55, Vrimda Dinesh 32, Amanjot Kaur four for 45, Kashvee Gautam three for 21); West Zone 201 for nine in 50 overs (Nikita Aghe 65, Sejal Raut 64, Rishika Yadav five for 35, Manpreet Kaur three for 28) bt Central Zone 127 in 49.1 overs (Poonam 43, Nikita Aghe five for nine);

East Zone 303 for four in 50 overs (Dhara Gujjar 143, Ankita Chakraborthy 73 n.o., Vishalakshi three for 47) bt North East Zone 41 in 22.4 overs (Sreya Karat three for nine) .
