High on confidence after their successful tour of Bangladesh, the West Indies cricket team, led by Darren Sammy, arrived here on Thursday to play a three—match Test series and five One—day Internationals against India.

The West Indies squad arrived at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here, and immediately left for a city hotel.

The West Indies will first play the three—match Test series against the hosts, starting from November 6 here at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground.

The other two Tests will be held at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata (November 14—18) and Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai (November 22—26), respectively.

The ODI series will be held at Cuttack (November 29), Visakhapatnam (December 2), Ahmedabad (December 5), Indore (December 8) and Chennai (December 11).

The Caribbeans are coming fresh from their 229—run victory in the second Test against Bangladesh, which helped them to wrap up the two—Test series 1—0, after they clinched the three—match ODI series 2—1. The Windies, however, had lost the one—off Twenty20 International.
