Former Australian all-rounder and Chennai Super Kings star Shane Watson is in the country and will be in Tirunelveli on Sunday to witness the first qualifier and eliminator games of the TNPL.

On Saturday, CSK posted a video on its social media handles in which Watson was seen reading the Saturday edition of The Hindu .

Watson said, “It is great to be back here in Chennai. Thank you so much for all your prayers and wishes. I am back to full health. I am here to take a look at some of the TNPL games which will be a lot of fun. I will be back in Chennai to watch the final on August 15. Great to be back in my second home. See you at Chepauk.”

 

Watson also sent his wishes to Suresh Raina who underwent knee surgery in the Netherlands recently. “To Suresh Raina, so sorry to hear about your knee injury. Hope it is not too bad and you get back to full fitness very quickly,” Watson added.
