All-round performances from T. Shani (45 and two wickets) and S. Asha (34 not out and two wickets) helped host Kerala crush Rajasthan by seven wickets and maintain its lead at the top of the six-team Plate Group C in the National women’s one-day cricket league at Kalamassery on Saturday.
Kerala, coached by Robin Menon, has won three matches (12 points) in the five-team group and plays Baroda in the final match of the league on Monday.
Easy for BarodaMeanwhile Baroda, riding on unbeaten knocks by its openers P.A. Patel (45) and H.A, Patel (40) drubbed Vidarbha by 10 wickets.
With two wins from three matches, it is tied with Tamil Nadu at the second spot with eight points but has a superior net run-rate.
