The outcome of the hearing around Rahul Dravid’s Conflict of Interest issue will be known in a few days.
The Committee of Administrators (CoA) has been doing its best to bail out the former India captain and Head of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) Dravid from the predicament that he is in.
Dravid, along with sports lawyer Nandan Kamath, appeared before ethics officer Justice (Retd.) D.K. Jain here on Thursday.
It appears his employment terms with India Cements is under question. Dravid has told a broadsheet that he has given leave of absence letter from the company as advised by the BCCI in order to take up the NCA position.
There also appears to be the question of whether India Cements is the owner of the IPL team Chennai Super Kings. The Ethics Officer may consider the shareholding pattern of CSK Cricket Limited.
