Amid calls for India to refuse to play Pakistan in the World Cup, Virat Kohli has stated his team will simply abide by the BCCI’s decision.

“Firstly, our sincere condolences to the families of the soldiers who lost their lives. We're really shocked about what happened and sad about the incident,” Kohli said, referring to the attack on the CRPF convoy in Pulwama that led to the death of over 40 men.

“Our stand is simple. We stick by what the nation wants and what the BCCI decides. That is basically our opinion, whatever the government and the Board decide, eventually we will go by that and respect that.”
