The players’ auction for the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League is likely to take place in Chennai on February 18.

The auction is to be held between the second and third Test between India and England. The first two Tests will be held in Chennai with the second match to end on February 17.

The player retention deadline ended on January 20 and the transfer deadline for player trades between the teams ends on February 4.
