Indians have nets session

March 21, 2012 02:34 am | Updated 02:34 am IST - Dhaka:

India had an optional nets session at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium's adjacent mini-ground here on Tuesday.

The Sharmas — Rohit and Rahul, the Pathan brothers — Irfan and Yusuf, Manoj Tiwary and Ashoke Dinda trained while the main venue geared up for the Asia Cup match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. After his regular spells, Irfan bowled at a single stump and Yusuf gingerly held his sore leg after practice.

Finally, Sudhir Gautam, the team's perennial mascot, waved the national flag and blew the conch and before the team bus left, Rohit waved to Shahid Afridi and briefly caught up with Pakistan's Nasir Jamshed.
