World Cup-bound Kedar Jadhav is out of the remainder of Chennai Super Kings’ campaign in this year Indian Premier League.
Coach Stephen Fleming confirmed that Jadhav was out of the team to help his recovery from the left shoulder-injury he suffered while fielding against Kings XI Punjab on Sunday.
“He is due for X-ray and MRI and we are hopeful for him. I don’t think we’ll see him again in this tournament for us. He is in some discomfort and we are waiting for an accurate analysis tomorrow. He is plastered but nothing too serious,” revealed Fleming.
In the 14th over, Jadhav dived and hurt his left-shoulder while attempting to save an overthrow from Ravindra Jadeja. In acute pain, Jadhav walked off the field.
