Put in, Goa managed just 171, with opener Aditya Kaushik (75, 86b, 4x4, 4x6) the lone batsman to shine.
The home side chased down the target at a canter, with more than 15 overs to spare.
Karnataka will play the topper from the Plate group in the first quarterfinal on Sunday.
Defending champion Mumbai, meanwhile, stayed alive in the tournament with a 38-run defeat of Jharkhand. Placed fifth with 20 points, its progress will depend on the last round of matches on Thursday where Delhi (18) takes on Himachal and Uttar Pradesh (20) meets Haryana.

Wednesday’s high scoring encounter saw Mumbai make 358 for three, courtesy a record-breaking double century by Yashasvi Jaiswal (203, 154b, 17x4, 12x6).
Jharkhand , in its pursuit, lost three wickets for 33 runs, before Saurabh Tiwary (77, 78b, 5x4, 4x6) and Virat Singh (100, 77b, 12x4, 2x6) added 171 for the fourth wicket to give their side a fighting chance.
