CSK coach Stephen Fleming said that the team management is working on ways to support skipper M.S. Dhoni after his parents tested positive for COVID-19 and have been hospitalised.

“From a management point of view, we are well aware of his family’s situation and the support is set up for MS and his family,” said Fleming after CSK’s win over Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday.

“Talking with MS, the situation is under control for now, but we will monitor it over the next few days. We have the responsibility to make sure he has got the support he needs and we hope they recover quickly,” added the former New Zealand skipper.

The coach also added that he was pleasantly happy with his side’s performances in Mumbai where conditions are not ideal for a spin-based attack. “Winning three out of four probably exceeded the expectations. We felt maybe three out of five or if we got a couple would be good,” said Fleming.
