Big win for Tamil Nadu

R. Aushik Srinivas (five for 43) and D.T. Chandrasekar (four for 61) combined to bundle Karnataka out for 158 handing Tamil Nadu a 240-run win on the fourth and final day of the all-India C.K. Nayudu trophy u-23 cricket tournament held in Chennai on Tuesday.

In Hyderabad, Goa suffered a 10-wicket defeat at the hands of Hyderabad despite a fighting century by Deepraj Gaonkar (126, 121b, 20x4, 2x6).

Forced to follow-on and resuming at its overnight score of 41 for no loss, Goa folded up for 272 in 78.1 overs on the final day.

Chasing a modest target of 24, the home team achieved the target easily without losing any wicket.

THE SCORES: AT CHENNAI : Tamil Nadu 291 & 264 bt Karnataka 157 & 158 in 60 overs (D. Nischal 58 n.o., K.V. Siddharth 57, R. Aushik Srinivas five for 43, D.T. Chandrasekar four for 61).

AT HYDERABAD: Hyderabad 527 for nine decl and 24 for no loss in 7.1 overs bt Goa 278 & 272 in 78.1 overs (Rajat Shet 39, Deepraj Gaonkar 126,Tanay Thyagarajan three for 79).
