Rohan Kadam slams century

VIJAYAWADA: Karnataka, powered by Rohan Kadam’s 101, defeated Hyderabad by eight wickets while Andhra, thanks to half-centuries from Girinath and Dhruva Kumar, scored a six-wicket win over Tamil Nadu in the South Zone inter-zonal limited-overs cricket tournament for the P.S. Ram Mohan Trophy here on Tuesday.

In another match, Goa defeated Kerala by three wickets.

Hyderabad 199 for nine in 50 overs (Anuraag Haridass 55, Shashidharan Reddy 38, Jayaram Reddy 32) lost to Karnataka 200 for two in 39.5 overs (Rohan Kadam 101, Shivan Mishra 47). Points: Karnataka 4; Hyderabad 0.

Tamil Nadu 180 in 49.5 overs (Aswanth Mukundan 37, Kaamruddin three for 40) lost to Andhra 183 for four in 42.4 overs (U.M.S. Girinath 58 n.o., Dhruva Kumar 50 n.o., Rohan Das 34). Andhra 4; Tamil Nadu 0.

Kerala 230 for seven in 50 overs (Rabin Krishna 63, K. Arun 39) lost to Goa 231 for seven in 48.5 overs (Pratamesh Gawas 69, Ishan Gadekar 43, Vinoop Manoharan three for 41). Goa 4; Kerala 0.
