All-rounder Moses Henriques will join the injury-afflicted Australian squad during the course of the current Hero Honda Cup ODI series. Henriques will join the team at Delhi on Thursday.

According to a Cricket Australia press release, Selection Committee Chairman Andrew Hilditch said: “With James Hopes’s right hamstring injury likely keep him out for at least the next two matches, it was thought that adding a standby player to the squad is a necessity.

“Henriques’s form for Australia ‘A in Pakistan and for New South Wales during the recent Champions League in India has been very good and we view him as an exciting young all-rounder.”
