Rahul Dravid left for India on Wednesday afternoon. Dravid was briefly present at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium here on the fourth day of the second Test before he left for the airport to catch a flight to Mumbai and from there to Bangalore.
The Indian middle-order mainstay, suffered a fracture in his left cheekbone after Bangladesh seamer Shahadat Hossain struck him with a bouncer here on Monday. Dravid, then on 111, immediately went to a
nearby hospital, where it was confirmed that he had sustained a fracture.
Dravid will now consult specialist doctors in Bangalore.
