India dictated the game’s pace and set a target of 415 for Bangladesh in the fourth day of the first Test at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium here on Wednesday. India declared its second innings at 413 for eight after Gautam Gambhir’s 116, his ninth Test century and fifth in a row, along with fifties by V.V.S. Laxman and Amit Mishra.

At close, Bangladesh struggled at 67 for two in its second innings and needs to bat the whole of the fifth and final day to salvage a draw, which at the moment looks difficult against an upbeat Indian team.
