2019 World Cup | Rain follows the Indian team!

June 18, 2019 10:34 pm | Updated 10:34 pm IST - Southampton

The rains seem to follow the Indian team. Just as the squad settled into Southampton, the venue for its Saturday’s World Cup clash against Afghanistan, the weather remained cold and damp for large parts of Tuesday.

The Men in Blue arrived in batches since Monday and openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan with their respective families, preferred to take the train.

The drizzle continued unabated, drenching everything in its wake, but thankfully for Kohli’s men, the forecast for Saturday offers hope — sunny weather with some breeze.
