Lyngkhoi Binning and Sukanya Mall won the Mawana Sugars Indian Open marathon titles here on Sunday.
Binning clocked two hours 18 minutes and 49 seconds, just outside the London Olympics ‘B' qualifying standard of 2:18:00. Sukanya (2:48:25) was well outside the ‘B' standard of 2:43:00.
With Ram Singh Yadav (2:16:59) having attained the ‘B' qualification standard for the Olympics, in the Standard Chartered Mumbai marathon, male runners here could have been aiming for the ‘A' standard (2:15:00) or a better timing than Ram Singh.
