American College HSS (Madurai) and NSVV (Pattiveeranpatti) won their matches in the semifinal league of the Mahrendran Memorial State-level schools basketball tournament on Friday.

The final rounds will be played on Saturday.

The results (semifinal league):

American College (Madurai) 66 (Anuganth 17, Muthukumar 16, Aravind 14) bt M.Ct.M. 59 (Karthi 17, Madhusudan 14, Srinivasan 13).

NSVV (Pattiveeranpatti) 53 (Diwakwar 18, Vigneshwaran 14) bt Sherwood Hall 23 (Tarun 10, Nikhil 10).

NSVV 70 (Jeevanandam 36, Sudan 12, Diwakar 10) bt M.Ct.M. 51 (Srinivasan 18, Karthi 13, Madhusudan 10).
