Team India react after their victory over Sri Lanka in the final of a tri-nation ODI series in Colombo.

The victorious Indian cricket team, which clinched the tri-eries in Sri Lanka, arrived here from Colombo to a warm welcome in the wee hours of Tuesday

Man of the series Sachin Tendulkar headed for Mumbai along with a few other teammates. All-rounder Yusuf Pathan, meanwhile, left for Baroda.

India beat Sri Lanka by 46 runs on Monday night to clinch the four-match series, which also featured New Zealand.

With Monday’s win, the Indians, who had slipped to third spot in the ICC rankings, moved back up to the second position in the one-day list.

The team will next be seen in action at the eight-nation Champions Trophy from September 22 in South Africa.
