You will no longer have to wait in long queues, to purchase your Diwali firecrackers. A new online cracker store set up by M. Arun Kumar, www.kovaicrackers.com, will allow you to buy them at the click of a button, and avoid the hassle of physical shopping.

“Fire accidents can take place when you don’t buy standard quality crackers, and purchase them from obscure retail outlets. Those working outside the city, who would ideally like to spend quality time with their families end up making last-minute Diwali purchases instead. By placing their orders online, they can save up on the long queues and be assured of quality,” says Arun. The crackers are shipped from Sivakasi and stored in a warehouse at Chettipalayam. For those who would like to have a touch and feel of the product before purchasing them, dummy crackers have been put up on display at Big Bazaar in Race Course.

Kovai Crackers has 93 different varieties to choose from, and these will be home-delivered. There are no shipping or delivery charges. Discount coupons are available at Big Bazaar, Shoppers Stop and at the Kovai Crackers Office in P.N. Palayam.

Payments can be made in cash, credit/debit cards or through a secure e-payment gateway.
