Motorola unveils 3rd generation Moto G in India

The new Moto G will be available on Flipkart.

Mobile manufacturer Motorola today launched its third generation of Moto G mobile phones in India. The phones will be available exclusively on online marketplace Flipkart from mid-night along with other special launch offers.

The company said that the latest Moto G, with 8 GB storage and 1GB RAM is priced at Rs 11,999, while devices with 16GB storage capacity and 2GB RAM is priced at Rs 12,999.

The next generation of the most popular smartphone from Motorola, the Moto G (3rd Gen) is designed with more meaningful experiences, enhanced performance and more customisation options.

“Ready to weather any storm, it comes with advanced water-resistance technology so it stays safe from splashes or accidental drops in the water,” said the company.

The third generation Moto G is powered by Android 5.1, Lollipop operating system, the latest released version of Android OS and also have a long-lasting 2470 mAh battery.

The mobile phone also boasts of a 13 mega-pixel camera, f2.0 lens, and Hybrid Multilayer IR cut filter. The new Dual Dynamic Correlated Colour Temperature (CCT) flash automatically adjusts to ensure you get natural looking skin tones and consistent vibrant colours. It also has a 5 MP front camera.

As part of the launch Motorola has also announced special offers like 33 per cent off on total bill value on Myntra, Flipkart fashion e-gift voucher worth Rs. 500 with a minimum purchase of Rs. 1000. Double data offer for 6 months from Airtel in 4G circles and 2 months offer in non-4G circles among others.
