Information technology major Wipro recently released its sustainability report based on the GRI framework (a standard sustainability reporting guideline) and has been rated A+ for a third time, a press release from the firm stated. The rating reflects the highest standards of disclosure and is based on a rigorous external audit by DNV AS, the globally renowned provider of sustainability assurance services.
As part of its sustainability initiatives, Wipro offers an integrated portfolio of green solutions for its customers, such as Green Computing, Clean Energy, Managed Energy Services and IT for Green Solutions.

Further, 32 per cent of Wipro's water needs are met through internal recycling and reuse while 76 per cent of waste generated here gets recycled, the report states.
